Can I park at Harbor Island Park ?
There is limited parking available at the field. But don't worry.
What about my bike?
Ride
it here. You can chain it to the outside fence, although we can't be
responsible for lost or stolen items. There's also a really nice roofed
bike rack at the train station a few blocks north.
Is the show open to all ages?
Yes,
all ages are welcome. In fact, children under 12 are free. There are
activities for the kids and ways of cooling off. There is a beer and
wine garden, and that's 21 and older.
Is the Festival ADA accessible?
Yes. Come one, come all!
What should I bring?
These can make your day more comfortable:
- Blankets
- Low-back folding chairs
- Water in Earth-friendly containers
- Sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, bug repellent
- Also, it will be sunny, but check the weather report on July 11 for any further recommendations
What about beach umbrellas?
Beach
umbrellas are great for blocking the sun, the occasional raindrop, and
everyone behind you. If you bring a beach umbrella or one of those
camping tents or half-moon tent jobbers, you'll be asked to set up in
the back.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, but you might not want it
once you see our food offerings. Lots of vendors with all kinds of food
and soft drinks. Check our Vendors page before you go.
What else is there to buy?
Our
Vendor Village is going to be a great destination, with crafts,
clothes, and other cool merchandise. Plus, bands will be selling CDs and
T-shirts, and we'll have SOWE Music Festival T-shirts for sale, too.
Is that all?
No, it's not! We're also planning on having a silent auction to bid on some cool stuff, like signed guitars and posters.
Can I bring alcohol into the Festival?
No.
We will be checking bags and coolers at the gate and taking your booze,
so don't bring it. Beer and wine are available in the Captain Lawrence
Beer Garden for people 21 and older. There will also be food in the Beer
Garden, so you can eat and drink in the same place. Sweet!
How about cigarettes?
While this is an outdoor event, it's still a crowded, public place. Please keep light-up tobacco at home.
What is NOT allowed?
- Drugs you wouldn't want to get caught with
- Firearms or other weapons
- Fireworks of any kinds
- Selfie sticks (seriously, they're annoying and not safe around thousands of people)
- Absolutely no drones. Too many people around\
What about pets?
No dogs are allowed except for documented service animals.
Are there restrooms at the Festival?
There are port-a-potties. Lots of them.
Where can I buy Tickets?
You
can purchase tickets online at www.sowefwf.com/tickets or at the ticket
booths on site at festival on Saturday & Sunday. Friday evening
tickets must be purchased in advance.
Is there a discount for group purchases or larger purchases of tickets?
No
I bought tickets already, where can I retrieve them?
- At Will Call ticket booth
- Saturday: Mamaroneck Harbor Island entrance at main ticket booth, beginning 11 AM
What is the process for receiving tickets once they are purchased?
Upon
purchase of tickets online, the purchaser will receive a confirmation
email or receipt for the purchase. Please present this confirmation
email to the will call booth beginning at 11 AM Saturday
Where is the medical booth?
First Aid and an ambulance will be in the parking lot at Harbor Island
Are those under 21 allowed in the wine/beer Village?
Under 21 are allowed in the tent but will not be served alcohol unless proof of 21 has been shown
Where do I park?
Various
parking lots are available in the towns and street parking is also
available. It is advised to take alternate means of transportation if
possible, train, bus, bike, etc.
Is there a special price for children?
Children under 12 are allowed in for free.
Are there souvenirs for purchase?
Yes. There is commemorative merchandise and tee shirts for sale at the event.
Does the Festival benefit any nonprofit organizations?
Yes.
Do I have to pay to enter the event?
Yes. There is an admission fee for this event.
What time does the event end?
Saturday event end around 8 PM
Can I return tickets if i don't use them?
Tickets are not refundable
Are there babysitting services at the kids area?
No
Can I leave and get back in?
Yes, you must be wearing the festival bracelet.
What is the cost of admission?
Admission on Saturday is $48.00 per person. VIP tickets are $ 85.00 per person.

Across from the food trucks in Harbor Island
Are alcoholic beverages served?
yes, wine and beer will be available, to those showing proof of 21 or over
Does the Festival rent wheelchairs or strollers?
no
What happens if it rains?
The festival continues, rain or shine
Is there an ATM?
There are ATMs available on Mamaroneck Road in Mamaroneck
Where can I find my child if lost?
There
will be police officers on site. Please seek out a SoWe staff member
immediately (They will be in Event Staff shirts) and we will help you
locate your child.
Can I take photos or video of entertainers?
Yes

No, The kids Zone is free to attend

You can go to any ticket booth for questions or information
Is smoking permitted on grounds?
Not inside the tents
Are there any accommodations for people who have had too much to drink and cannot drive?
Saturday: Staff members at the main ticket booth will be able to provide taxi information for those that cannot drive
Is there a dress code for the event?
There is no dress code. Please note that the event is outdoors. Please check the weather and dress appropriately.
